Jenette Coldrick has been a dedicated artist since 1970.
Born in Cornwall in 1952, to an Irish Mother and Cornish Father.
She was inspired by the artists she met in her childhood as she wandered the lanes around John Opie's cottage. Her early work was somewhat influenced by Peter Lanion whom she watched and listened to flying while he flew his glider over her father's fields at St Agness.
Jenette studied at Ulster College of Art and Design
Jenette was tutored in painting by Niel Shawcross and pottery by David Leech. Her main areas of interest are painting and pottery which can become very sculptural, and also jewellery making as small sculptures, which tend to have a Celtic feel.
Her work is held in many private collections mainly in the USA, Europe and Japan. Her work has also been shown on UK television.
Sky television broadcast a feature on her figurative work in the late 90's
Jenette opened her own gallery in the West of Ireland at this time, where she exhibited and successfully sold her work to visitors from around the world for a number of years
