Yaa'ah'teh and welcome to my gallerypage!
I love working with art, working alot with oil, aquarelle and photographing. Nature is my main inspiration, but also spirituality and emotions. Often work with oil on canvas, but recently started working with mixed medium such as paper and oil on canvas. Through my art, I'm trying to connect with the deeper emotions, making people feel and reflect.
I have worked together with late Kirk Ralph, he taught me how to think differently when it comes to light, shadows, medium and so on. He was a great teacher and a dear friend.
I have also been taught by Rasol Ahwahd, a persian artist who taght me aquarelle-teqnuiqes and drawing/scething.
Even though I have worked with those two great persons, there is also artwork within my family. My paternal grandfather, Sigvard Brodin was a well known and respected photographer in Stockholm during his lifetime.
My maternal grandfather, Geo Wide, was a well know artist in southern Sweden (Hoganas) as well in Rio de Janiero, Brazil where he lived his life most times.
Both Sigvard and Geo died when I was young, so never got to know them that much, but I did inheirit some of their workingmaterial and craftmanship, and I'm doing my best to use the knowledegde being passed down, into my own work.
As an artist myself, I've had exhibitions at some small community libraries, a shoppingmall in Laholm and Heagard Art Gallery, Halmstad. My next exhibition will be in summer 2016 at Art Gallery 70 in Halmtad.
Hope you enjoy my artwork!
