Ned Martin, artist / painter created this 36 x 48" landscape painting in oils on panel. It was first shown in a gallery in Manhattan, NY in Nov. '08. "We often learn more by not looking directly at a thing. For example, we learn more about a basketball coach by looking at his/her players conduct both on and off the court. If I were to have cropped this scene differently- painted the trees above the water line, you would have not looked-- would not have really seen."
