This painting style is still one of the most unique works of art from my collection."LIQUID STEEL" is part of the Red Mass series. A mixed medium canvas art, painted in acrylic paint "heavy body". 2 to 3 inch elevated sections are hand carved and bonded to the canvas using styrofoam, cotton and several bonding techniques, giving the artwork a heavy massive look. The canvas size is 30"x 40" with 1 inch thickness. Liquid Steel has a railroad steel look to it. This piece looks heavy and cold once hung. Colors use are burnt umber's, rust, red, navy,metallic silver,copper and lots of olives. total weight approx 8 pounds. Absolutely gorgeous.
