This painting style is still one of the most unique works of art from my collection."Drift is part of the Red Mass series. A mixed medium canvas art, painted in acrylic paint "heavy body". 2 to 3 inch elevated sections are hand carved and bonded to the canvas using Styrofoam, cotton and several bonding techniques, giving the artwork a heavy massive look. The canvas size is 30"x 40" with 1 inch thickness. Liquid Steel has a chocolate and mint look to it with frost windows This piece is smaller than most Red Mass paintings. Colors use are burnt umber's, rust and mint green. total weight approx 5 pounds. Absolutely gorgeous.
