Sitting by the fire a warrior tells great stories of the experiences he versioned in his quests. The fire burns bright as the ghost spirits rise from the smoke as his story is told. Chiefs inhale his words as they are spoken with great humbleness. This was my first attempt at painting people. I had a difficult time getting the proportions right and by the time I was done I learned a great lesson, “Do not attempt to paint figures from your head”. Next times I used forms and models and photos. NOTE: If you can see in the image there are warriers on horses formed in the fires smoke. Much more detailed if seen the real painting.
