This photo was taken on the Chesapeake Bay. In the opposite direction I was photographing a lightning storm, and when I turned around I saw this beautiful, tranquil, and ethereal scene.
I studied painting and photography at the Maryland
Institute of Art, so I like to rework a photograph in Photoshop and Painter to get the feeling I want,
as Ansel Adams would have advised, when he said to previsualize how the print would look.
