Stella Maris seen awakening the tides of spring portrayed as a mermaid.

Though the original is sold, limited edition prints are available at $50.00, matted and mounted on foam core.

Stella Maris has numerous interpretations however, the Virgin Mary and a kind of Mother Nature of the Sea are generally accepted. Spring is a beautiful time, under the sea as well. I sought to reflect this beauty with Stella Maris as the focal point and the wreath of coral a unique portal from which to behold it.
