This painting depicts a traditional warli Diwali celebration at night. This Warli painting is made on handmade paper size 8 x 10 inches . You can frame it as per your home requirement.

The figures are painted in a spiral or round formation. There is a musician blowing into a traditional musical instrument known as a Dobru and is made from natural materials and a huge dhol to call for the tarpa dance. You can see many men and women dancing with their hands joined, with one person giving a signal as to when to change the dance step.

During the three days of Diwali, drinking and dancing are the main rituals for their thanks giving to natures bountifulness. The dance, which begins during the day, continues throughout the night.
