I like to use my art as a diary. My work is usually based on things that I don’t like about myself; fears, insecurities, anxieties, etc… I use a stippling technique (drawing with tiny dots) because it is very meditative and requires a lot of patience. Once my images are complete, I stain them with a variety of wood stains and glosses, which gives them an old, antique, and maybe forgotten-about look.
