Just finished this piece for my wonderful dentist, Dr. Nguyen at Emerson Dental. Her favorite color is purple/lavender. It's a recycled mixed media piece with acrylic paint, gels, handmade paper, and Cerec Blocks, on canvas. If you are in the dental business, you will know that Cerec Blocks are used in making teeth/crowns, etc. These are Cerec Blocks that are left over after the tooth/crown was made...recycling. The verse on the piece is a Vietnamese saying - "When the going gets tough, the tough get going, then going gets last."
