This is a 4X$inch ceramic tile I made that has the likeness of my husband. I used tracing paper over clay that was rolled flat and worked at leather hard. I carved out the areas around his face to elevate his silhouette and carved swirls out of the beard to give it fullness and texure. I used rocks to create a texured look to the frame and painted it green.
