Amy Chace's Bio and Statement.

My name is Amy Chace. I am a visual artist. I am proud to have come from a long line of strong women -of golfers, drivers, voters, fighters -of artists and writers, poets and prophets -of singers and givers.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. After graduation, I took classes at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, mainly in Photography. Shortly thereafter, I moved to New York City and pursued a career in Photography. I worked for a couple years as staff photographer for GO NYC Magazine and also as a freelancer for the New York Press. I recently have shifted my interest to Illustration.

The main themes in my artwork are: Strength, Independence and Freedom. My artwork is in many private collections and seems to strike a chord with many different demographics of people.
