Award-winning artist Michael Gillespie holds the Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (With Honors) from the University of Texas at Austin, and has studied with a number of noted artists, including Daniel Greene and Ramon Kelly. Reproductions of his art have sold in Europe and Asia, and he has received commissions from companies such as Exxon, Verizon, and IBM, the Texas Ranger Museum, Scottish Rite Hospital, Howard Payne University, as well as from many private individuals. He is a Finalist in the Art Renewal Center Competition, Florence Academy of Art Summer Scholarship, and a winner of the Pastel Society of America and Oil Painters of America Scholarships. He has taught privately and on the University level.
