Why am I here? A few years back I had a massive heart attack and died. It took seven minutes to loose everything I had ever come to know and love. The doctors brought me back with the shock treatments. There isnt a day that doesnt go by that I dont rememeber the sheer terror of it all, but also the gratitude for simply being here today. I have learned to take nothing for granted and to live the moment to it's fullest. I know I am loved today and that I love, deeply, and for this my life is rich. I enjoy my artwork, my life as it is today and am grateful for every moment. I have chosen Art to be my therapy for and of my life. I love the sounds of my children's voices, even though they are grown.I have people with whom I share my love with, and for that i am grateful.. I love the abstract, and nature. I dislike brocolli. I love to immerse myself into life, art and the piano.I love to laugh or try really hard even not too. I have a great respect for Dr. Suess. I guess that is about all I have to say about me, though there is so much more. SO why am I here, to be and to see you in the galleries. To express what is within. And to create as far as the imagination will take me,. TO leave my imprint upon today. Perhaps it is to tell you a story, I hope you enjoy the artwork. My name is Cheryl Conley, I am almosy fifty years old and I am happy to be here. Thank you.
Warmly, Cheryl Conley ( Miraychel Stone)
