Denise Clayton-Onwere

I was born in Los Angeles (California). At the early age of 17, I traveled to Alabama to study Social Work- currently I have settled down in Huntsville.

I have been creating feelings of art with paint and drawing for as long as I can remember, but employment in a totally unrelated field and other outside influences caused me to give up doing any form of artwork for many years.

The battle between a structured abyss-style life and a creative
free-thinking free-flying ever-living one rages on and displays within
my paintings.

Painting is something I must do, and it is a major part of my life. I
love all forms of painting and abstract art. I have no formal
training, but my artwork speaks for itself.
