Soren Gul-Ses is a self taught artist whose development began at a young age observing both the separatist existence of women affected by Holocaust memories, and her own ensuing internalization of her family's descent into madness of addiction and the isolation of insanity.
To date, blending both the personal and the political, Gul-Ses themes often deal with the breakdown of self concepts, resulting from the survivor's shell shocked confusion, which hungrily clutches on to an exaggerated sense of shame and guilt.
