Scarlet, born in the small market town of Hatfield in Hertfordshire, the second of three sisters, even as a child, showed clear signs of her later mischievous individuality.
During her formative years, she decided, to be either, a ballerina or an artist. Thankfully, several years later, scarlet realized that she possessed, the natural rhythm of a wounded penguin.
Leaving secondary school, with a twist of certificates and good examination results, Scarlet graduated to the local art college, studying fine arts and photography. Whilst at college she sold many photographic prints, line drawings and developed the characteristic digital technique, that is very much, her own recognizable style.
Mixing freely with musicians, such as, THE DONUT SONG, SRI PYE R and THE BOGGAN BAND, Scarlet provided many of the posters and most of the art work, for several years.
Scarlet also developed and grew into her 3D work, creating simple modernist pieces, with grace and physical movement, in stone and steel. As described on the home page, a number of her sculptures are owned by major international companies.
Constantly revealing new facets to her talent and with a brilliant gift for iconic narrative, Scarlet has matured into, one of Britain's leading photographic and surrealist artists, her work admired and respected throughout the world.
