Florida artist, Freddie Baker Combs, was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Freddie settled in Winter Haven in 1975 after completing a degree in education at Florida Southern College. After raising three sons and attaining the title of School Principal, she began the study of watercolors as a means of relaxation. She has shown her works in several southern galleries and competitions.  She teaches artworkshops and classes locally.
