Sherri Adriano, a New Jersey native, grew up in a family of creative minds and won her first art contest at the age of 7. She studied art all throughout her academic career. While attending the Art Institute of Ft Lauderdale at 18 she studied Commercial Art. Then, as an adult she found herself channeling creative energies into Architectural and Interior Design. She worked as Architectural Designer with an emphasis in Kitchen and Bath Design. During that time, she started adding murals and faux finishes to her designs, adding more depth and texture. She has also had an affinity for Photography saying that, “Art is the way I feel the world, Photography is how I see it.” She has the innate ability to capture the true essence of the subject.
She is a former member of the St. Augustine Art Association, the Energy Lab Art Gallery and the Anna Maria Art League. Currently, she is a member artist of Art in the Market of St. Augustine.
Sherri has been painting up and down the East Coast of the United States and has enhanced both upscale and showcase homes from New Jersey to Florida with highly tuned aesthetic sensibilities. For many years she has found inspiration living in places such as Anna Maria Island, Key West, Ft Luderdale and St. Augustine. It is her intent to produce artwork that is both functional and beautiful. She loves color in her canvas work and interiors but to the contrary, finds black & white photography deeply moving and expressive. She strives to create exquisite artwork and interiors that exemplify the highest level of artistic detail. Her emotive paintings and candid photography have gained her commissions to produce various works of art. Not to mention, numerous private collectors have purchased her work.
For anyone interested in having their own personal thoughts and feelings transferred into art, she finds satisfaction producing works that are the clients hearts desire.

Also, she loves to recycle (wood, fabric, jewlery, you neame it!) and uses vintage touches in much of her work. Whether it be assembalge, jewlery or her original desinged rag dolls, her work is beautiful and eco-friendly!
~~~Spontaneous Creativity!!~~~~~
This is how she describes most of the creative process but especially the creation of her more conceptual/abstract works. They are each steeped in emotion and with the use of thought provoking color he invites you into her world. She constantly needs to evolve and change, constantly exploring new creative outlets.She is a diversified artist who has to constantly change and evolve in order to keep effectively expressing herself.
