I was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan I have lived in several Latin American Countries. Currently I reside in Florida. Major in Commercial Art in College, Washington DC. Oil Painting Workshops at the Corcoran Gallery of Art Washington DC, Escuela Cristobal Rojas, Caracas Venezuela.
Since I was very young I always loved day dreaming and giving life to my dreams through drawings and writing stories with illustrations. I never imagined that my love will eventually become my profession, and I am so grateful that it happened that way.
I am now a freelance artist, which gives me more time to work on my own art. Because of the freedom of freelancing, my creative life today is much more interesting since the diversity of the work is so great.
I Like to create and bring life. Nature is Beauty. Dark solid colors with touches of lights for contrast, expression and movement.
I have worked for some time creating my series of women in distress with a Salamander by them.
The salamander is considered a solar power animal but primarily nocturnal. Its most profound meaning deals with transformation: intuitions and motion. it's cold blooded. This is analogous of adaptability and adjusting to our environment.
The Salamander asks us to perceive the changes going on around us and adapt to our best ability rather than fight against the changes.
The Salamander comes to those who are in need of change in their life; it asks us to evolve in our own life. Thus, in my series of women in distress there is always a Salamander to enlighten them.
