I live in Cedar Park Texas, just north of Austin. I have always been a crafter. I love mosaics, stained glass, photography, sewing and of course jewelry making. I was introduced to jewelry making by my best friend Dona. She had shown me some beautiful pieces that she had created and I wanted to learn how to make my own. I started out with very simple necklaces and bracelets using inexpensive beads. I found that I loved making jewelry so much that I decided to create something unique to just me. That's when I found the craft of wire wrapping and seed bead embroidery.  I had always loved wire wrapped necklaces and earrings so I set about learning to create that type of jewerly.  As for seed bead embroidery jewelry I've only been creating this for the past 2 years. My jewelry creations have been a process that has been a great sense of enjoyment and relaxation for me. I am the happiest when I'm being creative. My husband Michael and daughter Erin have encouraged me to continue to create my jewelry. My friends have not only encouraged me but have also purchased my jewelry pieces which include necklaces and earrings. This encouragement has given me a great sense of my creative self.
