Miroslaw Chelchowski was born outside of Warsaw , Poland .

M. Chelchowski, a champion bodybuilder on the national team , began to paint as a form of relaxation. Several years and couple of exhibitions later, M. Chelchowski began viewing painting in a new light , that is, painting became his new life.

He is educated artist from Poland.

His paintings have been featured in many solo and group exhibitions in Europe and also many art shows in USA, including two in New York - Madison Square Garden and Agora Art Gallery.

He has since become an American citizen, and continues to work on his art , depicting land ,seascape , abstract in oil , acrylic and watercolor .

M. Chelchowskihad established his unigue form of realism which explored the mystery and magic of land , the water , and the sky.  Now painting landscape and abstract is one of his primary joys.

Expressing the essence of the landscape and emotional content of his subject is what he strives for. The imagery is both turbulent and peaceful as nature is both action and repose at any given time . The strength of his drawing skill and compositon are evident in every painting.
