Erin Bennett is relatively new to the world of art. Professionally, she makes her living as a singer/songwriter. But having toured the world with her music since the age of 17, Erin has been introduced to many different countries' cultures, scenery, people and architecture which has proven to be quite influential to her paintings.

For the most part, the pieces created by Erin fall under the more abstract realm of art and are defined by her very unique subjects and style in which she paints.  Completely self-taught, Erin basks in collecting knowledge and inspiration from every resource including other artists (both dead and living, historic and unknown) as well as the world we live in (her main source of inspiration).

 

Message from the artist: "I believe that art is not defined by spotless technique or the ability to recreate image or moment in any given time. To me, art is most defined by it's universal ability to move people of all languages, cultures and walks of life."
