Michael Peychich
Michael has been interested in photography since childhood, however it was only about five years ago that he saw photography as a means of expression. Since then it has become a true passion in his life. In early 2007 he chose to change the direction of his life and pursue photography as an occupation.
Four years ago his wife, Brenda suffered a massive stroke leaving her with permanent disabilities. This event forced them to look at the priorities in their lives and the direction they were going. Michael believes that Brenda is without a doubt the most precious gift God has given him on this earth and he determined not to allow a stroke to destroy her quality of life. They try to spend as much time together as possible enjoying life. They have in that time gone on several mission trips working with the people of Oaxaca, Mexico as well as traveling around the United States. Through this, photography grew to more than just a pastime for him and into a means of expressing the wonders of the beauty of nature and people all around them.
His favorite areas of photography are nature and events. He enjoys capturing and sharing the beauty and wonder of God’s handiwork and sharing it with others. He also enjoys capturing the joy of human events. When it comes to weddings or cultural events look for the unexpected with the candid shots mixed with the more traditional.
