Robert Nuckels was born October 28th 1952 in San Mateo, Calif.  He studied art in 1967 at a local Conservatory led by Victoria Lashcreft. He also focused on art in High School & college. After serving a 2 year hitch in the army during the Vietnom era, he studied Music at San Mateo jr college and US Cal at Hayward. After gigging sporadically throughout the 70's,80's, 90;s, he rarely touched art.  However, at around the time that he contact a very virulent form of prostate cancer, and after anon-nerve sparing surgery, and a whole host of cancer-related treatments & medications, Rob return to art, wishing to specialize in fantasy art related to the Holy Grail, & 12-step programs.  He lives in Mill Valley, California with his wife, Kay & his son, Maxfield.
