Ice Originals© is the name for the husband and wife team of artists by the name of Kris and Laura Thykeson.

Laura Thykeson has been a professional artist for the last 20 years. She is totally self-taught, and paints from her instincts and a "stream of consciousness" type of impulse.She paints both in realism, from photographs, as well as painting abstracts. Laura enjoys painting in both acrylics and oils  on canvas, wood, metal, fabric and ceramics. She also occasionally makes jewelry.

Kris Thykeson, Laura's husband, primarily creates geometric, minimalistic abstracts, using colored pencils, markers, and pen and ink. He is also working on some new designs to be used on a line of skateboards. Kris does the majority of his designs on acid free paper.
