I attended Hornsey College of Art, London from 1957-60  studying for my National Deploma in Design. On leaving I went into retail display and advertising.organising newspaper adverts for the retail trade. Then into media and merchandise promotions eventualy owning a sucessful marketing organisation promoting products for many large corporations. I also lectured on History of art 1600-1900 and taught adults oil painting for Greater London Council

I also followed another career at the same time, studying piano forte at the royal college of music London and played in many groups in the 60`s.

In later years I bought "Valiant Knights" a white metal sculpture collectors toy soldier company   which I still own today. The company makes specialised figures and molds for collectors toy soldiers. 

I now have retired and live in a converted Fire station in Essex
