Raised on Miracle Whip and jelly sandwiches, Adam Holzrichter has been led primarily by creative impulse. An upbringing as a Jehovah’s Witness, placed in the public school setting, can account for a sizable portion of his social independence. As a way to seemingly further set himself apart from peers he took up drawing, painting, sculpting, and openly questioning his surroundings.
Through an ever-widening desire to expand his sphere of influence, he attended art school (American Academy of Art, Chicago, IL), where he studied amongst other cutthroat hopefuls and dreamers. This taught him how to weed out the relevant, and otherwise, in his field. He now resides in San Francisco.
