Brittany Fitzgerald grew up in Shreveport, Lousiana and discovered her creative talents in high school at Caddo Magnet. She earned a bachelors in fine arts from LSUS where she was very active in the local art community, founding the Visual Arts Company and curating several large gallery exhibitions. After being accepted into Rhode Island School of Design, she moved to Providence to enter a masters program in landscape architecture. While there, she discovered her love of painting was more meaningful to her than becoming a landscape architect. She moved to the Austin area in 2007 because of their vibrant artist community and began teaching art at the middle school level. She still tries to find time to devote to personal artistic development. Brittany is now an art instrucor at Cedar Ridge High School in the Round Rock school district.
