my Painting history has stretched ove rthe whole of my sixty five years but i have to admit that I lost ten years of the time when I was hit by a sledge hammer, what on earth was to become of me,,at about the year two thousand i was diagnose as suffering with the devastating diseaes e'Parkinsons disease''it is a disease which affects the nervouse system causing in most instances hands to shake out of control.it meant that my art was finished,i went into a deep state of shock,my photyography had to go the playing of my beloved keyboard went out the door, and worst of all my new car had to go, i moped about nothing except struggling to come to terms with the shaking, after about ten years of doing nothing I thought that I would just try my luck at painting again just to see how badly it was going to affect my efforts at getting back into it,well I tried and to my atonishment i found that with the help of some calm moments witch occourd through the day I was able to use the windows of calm to paint and would you believe from nothing i brought myself back to painting many many pictures practyically all of the pictures that I hopefully put in my gallery was painted during my ''Parkinsons'' affected time, the first picture i am going to show is of a large kOI carp,, this is because I was a very enthusiastic koi keeping and won many fisrts sercond and third prizes in the koi keepers society in which I was koi south west regional chairman,in which time I hosted a sky tv programme which featured my very own koi.today my parky is still progressing but at this moment in time am still able to paint ,and hope to for a few more years yet....I would not let this opportunity pass by without bringing to notice how i have been helped with words of encouragement and praise from artists all around teh world,Andy davis from the North of england, always there with wonder ful words of praise and encouragement,, and to his wife Rachel, who is also an artist in her own rite and is as adept at offering wonderful words as andy, two very fine people and good friends of mine, these two are new members of Nobullart from quite recently, another great friend is an artist from Seatle in America,Washington, Paula Anderson, her words of praise and encouragement is nothing short of inspirtational and I speak to her qite frequently ,there are more who offer me encouragement but these two are enough to give a clear picture of just what I am receivibg from fellowartist and I am trully lucky despite bearing this disease. If you have a problem please do not hesitate to contact me either through noballart ..http://davidjarrett.nobullart.com or my email addresss ,,which is dajarre@blueyonder.co.uk I would gladly talk to you via these routes. I thank you............................. david jarrett
