Artist Biography
My interest and my works explore the beauty of the land. Especially interesting to me are the beauty of nature that underpin the way we live and the way we make sense of things around us. These are the core ideas that form the creation of other things in our lives. Decorative elements on gates, doors, and facades are inspired from the beauty of the land. The making of our living spaces has put harmony into seemingly disparate objects. That link between nature and manmade space is a vital link of us and nature.
Hence nature informs art (which is us) and art edifies nature (which is what we make of it). We live within nature and nature takes care of us spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. There is a symbiosis relationship between the two. We care for nature around us which in turns care for us. Beauty grows from the land that we belong to.  |
