I grew up in Southern California and have always been interested in drawing

and painting.

I started my long adventure and love of all forms of Art at Sylmar High School

In the San Fernando Valley.

As a single parent raising three children alone in the 60’s & 70’s and working

full time, Art School was beyond my reach.

I have always felt if you love something and wanted it bad enough

you would find a way to achieve your goals.

That’s when I started the long and often times

discouraging process of teaching myself

by reading many how to books, visiting galleries and practicing my

drawing and painting skills, I started to create work that I was proud of.

In 1989 I decided to follow my heart and move to Oregon to be near my family;

and possibly find an appreciation and following for my style of painting.

I became interested in Watercolor in 1995; I found that I loved the fluid look and

 detail that I was able to create, and to my surprise I have found that following.

Watercolor has become my medium of choice.
