David's latest contemporary artworks are inspired by his memories of spending his childhood living in the Kent countryside.
"This is the first time I have put my own memories into my art, these are very special to me, I just hope the viewer can find something in my work which they can identify with, a sort of soul mate thing."
David has a fascination with wood which shows in his collages consisting largely of natural materials, very rustic and tactile. A professional sprayer by trade David uses the spaygun to finish most of his artworks.
The 'Grooved Art' is made by routering shapes or out-lines into supported board then spray painted, the grooves take on shadows depending on the light source, which is not apparent in the photos.
"I am a member of the Ashford Visual Artists and the Folkestone Art Trust. I exhibit locally and on-line,. if you care to see more of my work or have a question you would like to ask, please contact me, happy to chat,"
