I started drawing, like most people I think, when I was just a kid. I remember my brother sitting down with me to explaing that "cars dont have to be so boxy...try rounding it out a little". That was 2nd grad.I have drawn off andon since then sometimes months passing sometimes many years but recently I have found new pasion in creating art.
I have a large family of 7, inlcuding myself and my lovely wife, and I spend time helping them develop thier considerable artistic talents...all the while knowing they will most certainly surpass me in talent and skill...and I will be better for it.
To this point I am almost entirely self taught outside of helpful hints every now and again from, friends, family, other artists and a library of very useful books. These books, by authors such as Lee Hammond, and Burne Hogarth, have provided a wealth of reference and insight...without them I would be lost. I work mostly in fantasy, portrait and comicbook art but have recently been exploring other avenues and expanding my potfolio. I welcome these callenges and look forward to continuing my growth as an artist.
