To call myself an artist is to bestow on myself a title I haven't yet earned.  It is a title given by others when you are worthy.  So,,, I will continue my journey of learning until then, and beyond.

I first became aware that I could draw pretty well when I was young.  Life, however, has a way of prioritizing  and sometimes we must set aside the 'want tos' by order of the 'musts'.

Now, having the  time to pursue the 'want to' of making art, maybe, I can do justice to the same.

I like working with acrylics, but also experimenting with soft and pencil pastels.  Am still "finding myself" artistically and that shows in my work--it's all over the place.  Hopefully, I will find my niche.
