I haven't painted anything for a long while due to a bad right shoulder which required a total joint replacement.  I'm currently doing physical therapy and hoping for a full recovery.

Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Wayne D. Vander Jagt studied art at The University of New Mexico, Kendall School of Design and Grand Valley State College. He served as a technical illustrator for the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged, he worked as a self employed artist/craftsman for nine years in Michigan, where he sold his works to shops and to the public at art fairs.

Wayne worked as a designer/draftsman for several engineering and architectural firms for the next twenty seven years. He’s been painting water color paintings around south Florida and West Michigan for the past three years.
