SURESH S PANDAVARAKALLU's Gallery   -   Artist Biography

Suresh S. Pandavarkallu, who hails from a tiny village Pandavarakallu, in Bantwal Taluk, Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka State, knew the essentiality of providing quality education in drawing and painting, to the children, realized the importance of an organization, which in turn would result in vast improvement of the very existence of method of learning and was confident that a revolutionary change in the very thought process can be achieved by means of imparting proper educative methods.

This turn led him to the decision to establish an organization with like minded enthusiasts and move forward to attain the objects.

All this motivated Suresh S. Pandavarakallu to constitute Shree Chakrapani Fine Arts and Educational Trust which came into existence, at Mangalore on 6th April 2006 as a registered organization with the main purpose of promoting fine arts, mainly drawing and painting in rural areas, apart from organising other social services for the welfare of the community.

ART FROM THE HEART:

Suresh S. Pandavarakallu is an active, talented artist with bubbling energy, and has scores of art works in acrylic, on subjects ranging from nature traditions to folk culture. Though he is adept at painting on any subject his favourite is the reality of life, where he depicts the inevitability of rural power. Suresh K. Pandavarakallu, participates in many art exhibitions and group shows. His art works have been of acclaim. For him “drawing and painting is not what one sees, but what one can make others see.”

Number of children, have been trained by him, in drawing, and painting. Young energetic and a capable organizer, Suresh S. Pandavarakallu has founded the trust with an urge to render meaningful service to the field of his activity and to contribute to enrich the field of fine arts. By struggling hard, against all odds, he has realized his childhood desire. He has won silver medal in the national level creatives art contest organized by Manav Sanket Academy of Ujjaini, Madhya Pradesh in the year 2002 and consolation prize in the state level ancha kuncha competition conducted by Shantivana trust, Dharmasthala, Dakshina Kannada District, Karnataka State, in the year 2002.

With all humility he says: “My parents, teachers, have moulded me to the person, I am now. Drawing and painting is my life. Commitment to drawing and paintings is my strength. Serving the people from fine arts platform brings solace to me. My life can not be imagined without drawing and painting. I want to reach out to people through fine arts.”

An art teacher by profession, Suresh S. Pandavarakallu is not content with his hitherto achievements. He has set many a goals for himself and is on a mission to make his aspirations come true.
