Ibrahim Ginoschio- An intuitive, writter, painter and poetic prodigy began making art in 1978 at the age of 9. By the age of 16 he completed The Iqirah (a collection of poetry) compiled from a reoccurring dream during a time which Ginoschio struggled with illiteracy and dyslexia as his uncorrected vision was +7 in one eye and +6 in the other.
The Iqirah reads in English in four directions. It contains formulas, equations, interviews, revelations and instructions. Like Ginoschio's paintings, The Iqirah is one of one original and will remain a single, unpublished work.
Ginoschio's style of painting is a blend of poetry, history, politics, sound, love and pain. He sometimes paints poetry from The Iqirah on the rear of his paintings which inspires the depiction on the front. The "I Wish You Heaven" and the "Every Emotion In Every Language" paintings are the only two in Ginoschio's collection with the poem painted on the front of the canvas.
After reviewing Ginoschio's "Orchid Reign Forest" Ann Austin of Minerva Press in London wrote a report describing his work as "thought provoking" "critical in feeling" "share a quality of incisiveness and direct communication" and "refreshingly demanding on the intellect."
Ginoschio has been called "a modern day Picasso" creating depictions that are unapologetic, bold, grotesque, provoctive, beautiful and controversial which distinguishes his work among the few artist capable of tapping into a frequency of emotion that is appreciated by art collectors with the most discriminating taste.
Both Ginoschio and his art are eccentric mystical wonders. An ex-lover recalls Ginoschio describing all of the details of her dream. A medical doctor recalls him giving the exact date, time, sex, height and weight (down to the ounce) of her unborn fetus a day before she knew she was pregnant. Several co-workers saw a wild crow land on Ginoschio's left shoulder as he talked to the bird for 5 minutes. Ginoschio's paintings are said to possess a healing quality which may explain why this 43 year old artist is often thought to be a brother to his 23 year old son, this is also why the most modest painting of Ginoschio yields a 19,000,000.00 price tag. Ginoschio's paintings are among the most rare and sought after collectable assets in the world.
