Elin Bjorsvik is a London (UK) based artist, originally from Norway. She has been painting and drawing her whole life, currently focusing on acrylic painting, though she also has a keen interest in pencil drawing, printmaking and photography. Elin graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland
Her paintings are made using many layers of texture and acrylic paint, composed into three-dimensional abstract landscapes and spaces that represent gateways which communicates the need for balance, order, harmony and serenity.
She draw her inspiration and influences from artists such as Mondrian, Vasarely, Anuszkiewicz, Riley, Miró, Johns, Kandinsky, Mondrian, Pollock, Magritte, Picasso and Dali
