Meine Singh (born February 18, 1999) is a tattoo artist working with a studio in the Hauz Khas in New Delhi. Growing up with an artist mother, he has been exposed to art as long as he can remember.
He remembers when he first started drawing, never fascinated by the light and soothing colors on the canvas; always taken up by the impact and presence of an illustration in ink. At the age 9, he took the drawing seriously and started collecting his drawings. At 14, one of his mother's acquaintances, a tattoo artist took interest in his drawings and introduced him to a world of skin, blood and ink.
Ink is a medium which is bold, no-nonsense and impactful. You cannot forget an ink drawing you've seen and you definitely cannot not appreciate it. No matter whether on skin or on paper or on any other material, they persist in your head, making you realize that the artist has definitely created a permanent impression upon you.
Though young, he works at a tattoo studio as an artist with hundreds of tattoos designed and inked over a period of two years. He takes his work more than just professional and calls it his duty to try to deliver perfection.
