Primarily I am a self inspired amateur artist and started work at around the age of 40. I started drawing portraits, landscape, still life and sketches at the beginning. I had brief informal training of pencil drawing and use of water and oil colour. My point of interest was portrait painting. During my early years of painting I drew portrait in oil, water, poster colour and oil pastel.

                However, gradually I developed interest in mixed media painting. Presently, at around the age of 48, I am working in mixed media on canvas using acrylic, oil pastel, digital media, papers, pastel paper, handmade paper, tissue paper etc. Now my subject of interest is abstract realism.
