Artist Diego Ivaldi was born in Genoa 15 November 1981 but he always lived in Finale Ligure, near Savona.

In everyday life he works as Medical Doctor in the Interventional Radiology and Angiography Service of Ospedale Santa Corona in Pietra Ligure / ASL2 Savona.

He started painting in 2004, with no contact with other artists, but for many years discontinuously because of the work commitments.

Only at the beginning of 2016 the artistic production is markedly increased, undergoing at the same time a very clear evolution both in content and, even more evident in the form, but remaining firm an unmistakable personal stamp that unites all works, and that is the quality of thought.

He start attending group exhibitions and reporting on contemporary art magazines in 2016, and also his personal web site www.diegoivaldi.com .

He is fascinated by universe secrets, he loves to look beyond the confines of this planet and see infinite of worlds and creatures yet to be discovered.

He think that in this research that push us towards unknown is hidden the secret of our being something more than a monkey.

He likes to dream that one day his paintings could be exhibited in an extraterrestrial art gallery , illuminated by the light of a distant star, but for the moment a wax statue at Madame Tussauds could be enough.
