The sun is made from burnished pineapple juice. My son gave it to me when it was crisp and told me it would make a nice sun for me to use in my art work. That got the ball rolling as I pondered it for two weeks. The trees are from a giant palm in my back yard. The sky sparkles from a glaze I used on it after I painted the background in acrylics. I used heavy scrapbook paper for the rocks. The special paper for the water allows it to change color depending on how the light hit it. Everyone says they feel like they could just dive right into it.
