This Ship in Bottle, "La Vaudoise," a cargo barque of Lac Leman (lake Geneva), depicts a scene of workers unloading a cargo of rocks. The scene and ship are inserted into a two liter, clear, pharmaceutical bottle. The overall scene contains: La Vaudoise with furled sails docked at harbor, while a crew of four men unload the cargo of rocks. The scene was developed from a photograph of the time and is created as close to reality as possible in terms of scale, tools, and method of workmanship.
