In my present paintings Title ‘Peace with in’, I try to portray my self through the representation of lotus, lotus pound and dragonfly in relation to the female form, though semi-realistic but natural in its own space. These images directly or metaphorically reflect the welled up thoughts and emotions in me and echo my affinity with nature.
The characteristics of lotus are a perfect analogy for the human condition even when its roots are in the dirtiest water, the lotus produce the most beautiful flower surpassing its limitations.
These paintings express a state of serenity and calm and reflect tranquility transcending emotional turmoil and material existence into enlightenment and peace. |
